Blast-One Acquires Tecor Finishing Solutions

September 3, 2012

Blast-One International expands into Minneapolis with expectations of increasing employment opportunities in the next six months.

Blast-One International is proud to announce its acquisition of Minneapolis-based Tecor Finishing Solutions – a national leader in the engineering and production of industrial blast rooms and spray painting ventilation systems. From turn-key painting booths and spray painting areas to fully integrated powder coating automated solutions, Tecor Finishing Solutions is a trusted leader for environmental health and regulation compliance, often delivering results surpassing OSHA requirements.

For over 35 years, Blast-One has been a leading provider of equipment and abrasives to the Corrosion Control and Protective Coatings Industry. With a focus on heavy industrial, the acquisition was the perfect opportunity for the fast growing Ohio-based company to gain further access to more technologies and even more experience within the engineered blasting & spray painting room markets. Growth plans include hiring additional staff from the local Minneapolis workforce sometime in the next six months.

“Along with the natural connection Tecor Finishing Solutions provided with our line of industrial blast rooms, the acquisition allows us to be a stronger contender by being able to offer a one-source solution - from blast rooms and dust collectors, to the industrial spray painting booths, and now automated powder coating lines,” said Brad Gooden, Vice President, Blast-One.

Tecor Finishing Solutions is currently in the process of officially changing its name and branding to Blast-One Industrial Solutions.
