French based CMA CGM Group is one of the world’s largest maritime transport firms. It is also a top company for trainees, a recent survey found.

After ranking 11th last year, CMA CGM reached 7th place in the Happy Trainees ranking, which lists companies of all nationalities that provide the best internships. The survey conducted by Choosemycompany.com was sent to 104 students between September 1, 2016 and August 21, 2017, and asked trainees to evaluate the host companies on professional growth, stimulating environment, management, motivation, pride and fun and pleasure.

“We are particularly proud to obtain the Happy Trainees label for the third consecutive year, which rewards the way we welcome and integrate our trainees,” said CMA CGM Group Secretary General, Thierry Billion. “This index places us among the best companies in which to have one’s first professional experience. This label also shows that CMA CGM, a growing company in France and internationally, offers fascinating internships to young people.”
