Aker ASA Now Holds 6% Share in Aker Solutions

Aker ASA has acquired 16,440,000 shares in Aker Solutions ASA at a price of NOK 115 per share. The shares were acquired after close of markets yesterday through an accelerated book-building process managed by ABG Sundal Collier Norge ASA and Arctic Securities ASA.

Aker ASA now holds directly 16,440,000 shares (approximately 6% of the share capital) in Aker Solutions ASA. As a consequence of the transaction Aker ASA has passed the threshold of 5% of the outstanding share capital in Aker Solutions ASA. Aker ASA also owns 70% of the shares in Aker Kvaerner Holding AS, which in turn owns 110,333,615 shares, representing 40.3% of the outstanding shares in Aker Solutions ASA.

Aker ASA has reduced its financial exposure in the TRS agreement disclosed November 1, 2013 from 1,500,000 shares to 891,762 shares.

This information is subject to the disclosure requirements according to section 4-2 (second paragraph) and 4-3 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
