Acteon Appoints Punnett as President of OIS

March 2, 2012

Offshore Installation Services (OIS) Ltd., an Acteon company, has appointed Jeremy Punnett to global president. He will be based in Aberdeen, UK, at Acteon’s Tern Place facility.
Punnett joins OIS from Bibby Offshore, where he oversaw business planning and strategic development. He will be responsible for continuing the evolution of OIS’s successful project management and specialist installation services.
“We are seeing increasing client demand for specialist installation and project management capabilities to support the services of the collective Acteon group companies,” said Bernhard Bruggaier, Acteon executive vice president. “The appointment of Jeremy as president will continue to build OIS’s ability to meet this need. We are pleased to welcome Jeremy into the group at what looks to be an exciting time for OIS.”
In recent years, OIS has helped Acteon companies in installing conductor-supported structures and has project managed joint-operator well abandonment campaigns, using the suspended well abandonment tool (SWAT®) – a proprietary Acteon group technology, which won the Petroleum Institute’s Platinum Award.
