Graham Hacon, founder and CEO of 3sun Group,is set to present at a BGF (Business Growth Fund) event next week.

In March last year, 3sun Group, secured a £10m investment from BGF following six years of considerable growth and expansion. The investment will support 3sun Group’s plans to accelerate expansion in its Great Yarmouth headquarters and advance further opportunities in the UK and Europe.

The event, which will take place on Monday 7 July, in Norwich, is the first event BGF has hosted in East Anglia that is targeted at business owners. During his presentation, Hacon will discuss the significant growth 3sun Group has experienced and how the funding received from BGF will benefit the company.

Graham Hacon, CEO of 3sun Group said, “When we were asked to present at this local BGF event we jumped at the chance. It is a great opportunity to reach out to other business owners in the East of England to demonstrate how BGF backing can support a global business strategy and accelerate future growth.

“Securing the capital from BGF has been a real accomplishment for us and is testament to the whole team’s hard work and determination to position 3sun Group as a leader in our field. We are committed to delivering a high-quality, fully-integrated service from launch to completion and the £10m funding will allow us to continue to do so on a global scale.

“The support that we have received from BGF will play a key role in increasing our international presence and expanding our operations. We have outgrown our current headquarters in Norwich so the funding will allow us to invest in a new premise so that we can further grow our team.

“We have developed a strong relationship with BGF. I am looking forward to continuing to build on this partnership and collaborating on future projects.”

Chris Hodges, BGF Investment Director commented, “We are delighted to be hosting this event in Norwich alongside 3sun Group, JDC and Mills & Reeve. 3sun Group is BGF’s first investment in Norfolk and so we are keen to raise awareness of growth equity, and build valuable relationships with business leaders and owners in East Anglia.

“Our hope is that we can really engage with our guests and give them a sense of what BGF can offer them in terms of capital to accelerate growth and additional support around the board table.”

Presentations from JDC Corporate Finance and Mills & Reeve will also feature at the event with a panel session to follow. Les Dawson OBE, recently appointed as Chairman of 3sun Group, will be on the panel to answer questions from the audience.

The event, followed by drinks and networking, will take place from 4.00pm to 7.00pm on Monday 7 July at the Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road, Norwich.
