Zach Walden

Zach Walden is director of port safety at the Hampton Roads Shipping Association, where his role covers training, project management and labor relations throughout the port. Walden's career includes 10 years in the U.S. Coast Guard both on active duty and in the Reserves as well as twelve years as a Firefighter/Paramedic where he honed his skills Maritime Response and Industrial Rescue. He will be graduating in the spring of 2024 with a master’s degree in Maritime Engineering Management from American Military University.
