The conference will be held for the first time and will focus on the mining industry in the region and the surrounding sea shelf.

The event is designed to unite on one discussion platform all structures involved in the subsoil sector, reported the press service of the county government.

The organizers of the conference "Chukotka. The area of ​​energy "were the government of the Chukotka Autonomous District and the institute of geotechnology.

According to the governor of Chukotka Roman Kopin, during the event it will consider the results of the program of development of the region for the development of the mineral resource base, as well as the progress of the advanced development of the project area.

The conference will also discuss issues relating to plans for the exploration and development of precious and base metals, hydrocarbon deposits on land and Chukotka Shelf East Siberian, Chukchi and Bering seas. In addition, participants of the event will discuss the theme "Infrastructure Solutions" and "Service companies - qualifications, experience, solutions."

It is expected that the conference "Chukotka. Energy Territory "will be attended by heads of ministries, federal agencies, foundations, heads of subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District, representatives of institutions and universities in the country, as well as the heads of several international companies and entities related to the mining industry.
