After having established Combi Lift as one of the leading companies within ocean transportation of heavy lift and project cargoes the owners, J. Poulsen Shipping (JPS) and Harren & Partner (H&P) have agreed that in order to be stronger and adapt to the market it is time for a new strategy. Combi Lift will forthwith be based entirely in and operate from Bremen, where the technical/engineering of Combi Lift will be joined with the chartering and operations, centralizing all services under one roof. This will strengthen Combi Lift's ability to respond to the precise needs and requirements of their clients. Harren & Partner's logistics and engineering experts with their specialized equipment will also form part of the newly composed team, enabling Combi Lift to become a real one-stop-shop for site-to-site transportation of large and heavy components.

Concurrently, H&P and JPS will jointly establish Combi Dock Chartering in Korsoer. This company will be the specialized set-up for chartering and operation of the semi-submersible COMBI DOCK (I + III) vessels, as well as for the PATRIA and PARIDA - two vessels with a sternramp. The highly specialized commercial and operational management will still be done out of Korsoer and branch offices in Houston and Singapore.

H&P and JPS are both maintaining their respective owning shares in the jointly developed fleet of high-class heavy lift and semi-submersible vessels. Both are once again showing their ability to adapt swiftly to changing market conditions together, whilst remaining reliable expert partners to their customers.

The newly established Combi Lift office in Bremen will kick-off 1st November 2014.
