Global chart distributor Nautisk said it has moved to new office premises in Aberdeen as the U.K.-based hub continues to expand following its establishment 18 months ago. Nautisk’s Aberdeen team has also grown with the addition of three new members of staff in Customer Services and Technical Support.

The company’s commercial manager, Lloyd Ferguson, said, “Opening our office in Aberdeen in 2015 allowed us to lay our foundations and strengthen our offerings to both the oil and gas sector and shipping industry, providing a vital link to customers operating in the U.K. and Northern Europe.”
“Over the past year or so, we have concentrated primarily on introducing ourselves to the local market and the rest of the U.K. We continue to expand and build new relationships with key players in the offshore sector.”
The Aberdeen office has a growing portfolio of customers, many of whom use Nautisk on a daily basis for services including quotations and sales orders, charts and publications, chart correcting, technical support and customer service.
Ferguson continued, “The industry has been through a testing period over the past few years which has resulted in cut-backs and redundancies. However, this climate has been seen by many as an opportunity to re-emerge and restructure business models.”
“Global shipping now has a chance to reinvent itself and as such, we have changed the way we approach new business by positioning ourselves to be unique through customer incentives and efficient cost saving measures.”
Nautisk’s new office is located within the new Waterloo Quay development overlooking the harbor front and is centrally located within the city with easy transport links for customers visiting the office.
