MacGregor is presently building its new Global Lifecycle Support organisation to develop and enhance customer service both in the merchant shipping and offshore markets. The installed base of MacGregor's product portfolio of strong MacGregor, Hatlapa, Porsgrunn, Pusnes and Triplex brands is extensive in both markets and MacGregor is strongly focusing on serving its customers well throughout the lifetime of the installations. MacGregor announces appointments of two new Vice Presidents to lead its front line operations and service competence centres globally.

Nick White is appointed as Vice President, Global Field Services which is an elemental part of the new Global Lifecycle Support in MacGregor group to drive the development of frontline service operations. Mr White comes from the position of Managing Director, Hatlapa Marine Equipment Ltd. where he has successfully developed service business for Hatlapa products.

Preben Liltved is appointed as Vice President, Global Product Support. Global Product Support combines MacGregor's existing Product Line After Sales and Competence Centres under one helm. Mr Liltved joined MacGregor when Aker Solutions Mooring and Loading Systems unit became part of MacGregor earlier this year and has been responsible for developing the unit's service operations.

Both Nick White and Preben Liltved will start in their new roles as the new Global Lifecycle Support organisation becomes effective 1 January 2015. "I am very pleased to see our service business leadership for the new organisation now being in place. These gentlemen both have an excellent track record in developing profitable service business and bring along their experience from their previous organisations for the benefit of all MacGregor's customers," says Mika Vehviläinen, President and CEO, Cargotec.
