Hibernia Appoints Altaji as COO

Telecom industry veteran to lead the development and execution efforts of the company’s commercial strategy 
Hibernia Networks , a provider of global telecommunications services, announces the appointment of Omar Altaji as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) effective immediately. In this new role, Altaji will oversee marketing, product management, business development and sales, leading the company’s combined efforts to accelerate revenue growth and ensuring the integrated commercial success of Hibernia Networks.
Altaji brings over 28 years of telecommunications industry experience to the Hibernia Networks team. His past experience includes leadership roles with Global Crossing, Lucent Technologies and AT&T in executive management, technology planning, sales and business development, product management and marketing, as well as research and development earlier in his career.
In 2012, Altaji founded Pangaea Technology Advisors, LLC., an advisory firm working with select PE firms and focusing on technology and telecommunications companies. Prior to that, he was EVP & Managing Director of the Carrier Services Business at Global Crossing, where he provided overall leadership and strategic direction for the voice, data, and infrastructure services business globally, and was an integral part of the senior leadership team, managing the company’s very successful quarter over quarter growth journey.
