Xeneta, an ocean freight rate benchmarking and market intelligence platform, has appointed Michael Braun as Director, Value Engineering and Head of Xeneta Advisor department.

Braun comes to Xeneta after 10 years with TIM Consult where he held the position of Project & Community Manager of Ocean Freight.

"Xeneta is experiencing rapid growth and as the density of our ocean freight data increases there is a need to enhance our customer's knowledge of how to best use our data. Michael's extensive background in ocean freight working closely with hundreds of global shippers will enable us to better serve our customers and bolster their success with Xeneta," says Thomas Sørbø, CBDO & Co-founder, Xeneta.

In this new role at Xeneta, Braun will further develop the company's added services offering. The goal is to enable Xeneta's customers to extract even more value and insights from the data Xeneta provides and therefore be able to fully optimize their ocean container supply chain strategies and procurement.
