Vigor Industrial made two promotions in its sales and marketing team, advancing Bryan Nichols to Manager of Sales and Marketing and Grant Fosheim to Sales and Marketing Associate.

Bryan Nichols joined Vigor Industrial in 2011 as a sales representative. He will now serve as Manager of Vigor’s Sales and Marketing division, which is focused on the new build and major refit markets. He will supervise Vigor’s sales staff and play a key role in developing the company’s overall sales and marketing strategy.

During his 20+ year career, Nichols has been involved in every facet of the shipbuilding industry ranging from welding and fitting to senior management. He has performed everything from sales to estimating to contract negotiations for more than 35 vessel types including barges, fishing vessels, passenger ferries and tugboats, giving him a unique understanding of Vigor’s diverse customer base.

Nichols’ industry involvement also includes past posts on the Board of Directors for the Island County Economic Development Council and the Passenger Vessel Association (PVA) along with serving as the Western Region Chairman for PVA.

Grant Fosheim joined Vigor’s marketing department in 2011 as a marketing assistant, where he excelled in deploying key marketing initiatives. He will now serve as Sales and Marketing Associate working closely with Nichols on sales and business development for new builds and major refits while continuing to develop and execute Vigor’s strategic marketing plan.

Prior to joining Vigor, Fosheim worked for Union Bay Fabrication, a ship repair company in Seattle. Fosheim holds a Master of Business Administration from Western Washington University and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Governors for the Seattle Propeller Club.
