Troy Container Line Ltd., one of the largest American-owned NVOCCs, today announced the appointment of Daniel A. Vorsky as account executive.

Based in the company’s Red Bank, NJ office, Vorsky will use his experience in logistics and supply-chain management to foster the expansion of Troy in new markets while maintaining the company’s strong tradition of quality service. In his new position, Vorsky will execute strategic sales plans and oversee day-to-day account transactions at Troy.  His work with the sales department aims to foster continued growth and ensure customer satisfaction. “Daniel’s sales experience and background in international transportation, combined with his ambition to earn new business, makes him an ideal account executive for Troy Container Line,” commented Michael Troy, the company’s founder and president.

Prior to joining Troy, Vorsky apprenticed with the United States Army at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, working as a civilian contractor for the science engineering apprenticeship program.  He has also served as an environmental science instructor at the State University of New York Maritime College, specializing in ocean conservation, maritime safety and information assistance.    Vorsky now looks forward to applying his experience and training to the ocean transportation sector, adhering to Troy’s strong tradition of customer service and dependability. Vorsky is a graduate of the State University of New York Maritime College.  He earned a master’s in international transportation management and completed a bachelor’s degree in maritime studies.
