Sentinel Marine Sell AHTS, Order Two More

Sentinel sell new-build Anchor Handling Towing & Supply vessels AHTS 5150;  order two more AHTS from Nam Cheong Dockyard.

Buyers of the AHTS 5150, Hull SK 67, have requested the details of the sale to remain private.

The newly ordered AHTS vessels will be built in Fujian South East Shipyard, China, with deliveries between Q3 – Q4 2013.

Brief specifications of the vessels:

- 5150 BHP
- 62T Bollard Pull
- 1 x bow thruster and 1 x stern thruster
- 59.25 m length
- 330 sq m clear deck
- Accommodation for 42 persons

These AHTS vessels are based on the proven Khiam Chuan Marine design, with the added stern thruster providing improved station keeping.

About Sentinel Marine:
The company has its roots in a Company called Nomis Shipping, which was established in 1989. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland. In its early days the company was engaged in owning and managing a fleet of Emergency Response & Rescue Vessels (ERRV). In June 2011, Rory Deans established Sentinel Marine in Singapore to trade, own and operate offshore support vessels in the oil and gas marine industry.
