New SENER Directors for Asia and Pacific

September 10, 2014

SENER has strengthened its presence in Asia with new appointments to head its local premises.

The Company has appointed Alfonso Cebollero as new Regional Director for Asia and Pacific, where SENER’s main activity is focused on marine projects, both for marketing the FORAN System – SENER’s shipbuilding CAD/CAM software, whose new V70R3.0 release has just been launched – and for developing engineering projects.

Meanwhile, Guangwu Liu has been appointed as SENER’s Country Manager in China, reporting to Alfonso Cebollero, with the mandate to develop business in this country and enhance the contact with domestic customers. China, Japan and South Korea are currently the worldwide leaders in shipbuilding; combined, the three countries produce 90% of the world’s ships and SENER estimates that, in 2016, 40% of the Marine revenue will come from this region, which gives an idea of its strategic importance.
