UTEC Announces Important Houston Appointment

Leading independent offshore survey company UTEC has announced the appointment of a new Vice President of Measurement Technology at its Houston HQ.


Mark Klusza – who holds a Bachelor in Design in Architecture from the University of Florida – brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in the industrial measurement arena.  During that time he has owned successful metrology and software companies, and most recently ran the Industrial Measurement and Dimensional Control (IMDC) division for Trimble in the US.


In his new role at UTEC, Mark will be tasked with developing the company’s IMDC technology capabilities and charged with growing revenue for this business line.


Commenting on his appointment Mark says: “UTEC has undertaken IMDC activity all over the world in harsh environments, including offshore vessel-based dimensional control. I look forward to both driving current technologies and introducing new innovative processes, enhancing the company’s reputation in this fast-paced activity.”


UTEC CEO Martin O’Carroll adds: “The appointment of Mark brings another senior   industry professional to the UTEC management team and I look forward to working with him in expanding the Measurement Technology division across our global network.”
