Singapore-based Shipowner and operator Masterbulk has renewed its fleet Safety Service Agreement for a period in excess of two years with Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS).
Josephine Tay, Account Manager WSS Singapore said, “The WSS safety service agreement significantly reduces administration costs for customers and this agreement allows Masterbulk to receive safety service due dates well in advance, enabling them to budget and plan ahead with greater accuracy.”
The Safety Service Agreement programme provides standardised solutions for customer’s fleets, offering fixed prices for inspection at agreed ports for relevant systems and portable equipment. The agreement also provides a single point of contact for clients, with customer support available in both the local language and same time zone as the customer.
Under such agreements, WSS customers get predictable  pricing  and professional service due date monitoring, and harmonisation allowing service visits to be consolidated in to one or two visits annually, all of which increases customer’s efficiency and allows for better planning and increased cost savings.
