Metro Cruise/Metro Shore Hires Marketing VP

Metro Cruise Services and Metro Shore Services, the cruise divisions of Nautilus International Holding Corporation, have  appointed Rofia Larsson to the newly created position of vice president of sales and marketing. 
Larsson joined Metro Cruise and Metro Shore on June 1 and will be responsible for the implementation of various marketing programs and branding strategies to increase the visibility of cruise and shore event business to potential customers within the industry. She also will provide visibility to cruise ship calls and the occurrence of events to current customers through the use of online, mobile application and social media marketing methods. Reporting to Stefano Borzone, Metro Cruise Services and Metro Shore Services president, Larsson is based at the corporate office in Long Beach, Calif.
Larsson brings more than 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing, through her background with various advertising agencies, coupled with her travel industry experience, where she held marketing-related positions with Princess Cruises and Crystal Cruises. Most recently, Larsson was the vice president of marketing for Cox & Kings, The Americas, a luxury tour operator servicing all seven continents, where she initiated and developed the marketing department. In this position, Larsson developed and implemented numerous marketing plans, along with launching new website platforms, a CRM system, and social media strategies. She also managed collateral production and marketing initiatives with tourism boards.  
Rofia has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science/international relations/comparative government from California State University, Northridge.
