Container shippers MSC and Zim are set to launch a new joint Black Sea service in November in order to meet seasonal agricultural demand.
The weekly service will operate two vessels on the following rotation: Alexandria – Ashdod – Novorossiysk – Alexandria, with a fixed Ashdod Friday departure.
Both vessels will be supplied by MSC and will mainly ship agricultural products in reefer containers.
For Zim, the new service will be a second loop, in addition to its EMX between Israel and Novo.
