Kiel Canal Strike Forces Lock Closures

According to a report by GAC, Brunsbuettel locks will be closed due to strike actions at Kiel Canal from 2 p.m. tomorrow, March 27, until 6 a.m. Friday, March 28.

At this stage, GAC said it is uncertain if the strike actions at Kiel-Holtenau locks commencing at 6 a.m. tomorrow will affect both the big and small locks, or only the old small locks.
