DMCA Shares Maritime Experience with Abu Dhabi

 The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) shared its renowned experience in implementing world-class maritime registration and licensing services with the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport in Abu Dhabi (DMAT) during their recently held meeting. 

Both parties also exchanged expertise to achieve their common goals of further improving the marine licensing system according to the highest international standards and reinforcing the UAE’s position as one of the most important maritime and logistics capitals in the world.
The meeting held at the DMCA’s headquarters underscored the significance of constant collaboration between federal and local government authorities to enhance the country’s maritime transport sector, a pivotal player in the UAE’s economic growth and diversification.
Ali Al Dabbous, DMCA’s Executive Director of Opertaions said: “We welcome our fruitful discussions with the DMAT delegates. The meeting was part of our efforts to consolidate actual work; ensure our common objectives to boost the UAE’s maritime sector; develop and improve the level of our services through joint initiatives; and provide smooth, quality, and highly efficient solutions to bring customer satisfaction and happiness.”
The DMCA representatives also presented the Authority’s different services, with special emphasis on its continuous endeavors to upgrade Dubai’s maritime registration and licensing processes through a unified platform.
