Ameritex Fabric Systems, a member of the Taylor Made Group and the leading supplier of engineered canvas enclosures, tops and covers for OEM boatbuilders, is introducing a new, exclusive fabric to the marine industry.

“We’re calling it WeatherGuard™,” said Don Zirkelbach, president of Ameritex Fabric Systems. “It’s strong. It’s durable. Most importantly, it’s a cost-effective solution offered solely by Ameritex to boatbuilders looking for an alternative to higher priced name brands.”

Made of solution-dyed polyester, WeatherGuard™ will maintain its color even when exposed to the elements for long periods of time. The fabric is resistant to water, tearing, abrasion, UV and mildew. It will remain soft and pliable, and it’s lightweight, making it easy to fold and store.

“After years and years of experience in the marine market, we at Ameritex know what it takes to make a robust fabric that boaters can depend on,” said Zirkelbach. “WeatherGuard™ has all the necessary characteristics that a good marine fabric needs. It can be used for boats of any shape or size, protecting boaters and their boats for years to come.”
