Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company focused on addressing the world’s most challenging water issues, is responding to the needs of its marine industry customers with the launch of JabscoTech.com, an online service offering that provides immediate support to end users of Jabsco pumps and products.

The first of its kind in the marine market, JabscoTech.com provides a higher level of customer service than is traditionally available, and is easily accessible day and night.

Xylem developed JabscoTech.com as a resource for customers of its Jabsco brand for inquiries related to installation, application, troubleshooting and technical requests. The site will house more than 50 videos and datasheets to serve as a library of technical information for marine consumers, mechanics and retailers.

“Our employees work tirelessly to provide the highest caliber of customer service, and we developed JabscoTech.com to supplement that support and instantly address requests at anytime,” said Bo Gell, product manager, Xylem’s Applied Water Systems business unit. “This site educates customers on the best way to service their boating needs through instructional video demonstrations.”

Service technicians and product managers created the videos on JabscoTech.com based on the subject matter of the most common customer service calls. Each clip highlights a specific topic by providing step-by-step tutorials and lists specific part numbers needed to complete the task. Customers are able to watch the clips at whichever speed suits them best, enabling them to follow along and repeat parts, if necessary. The videos are optimized for viewing on most smartphones for easy access from the field and in remote locations.

JabscoTech.com will be formally unveiled at the International Boatbuilders Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), held September 17-19 in Louisville, Ky.
