SWIRE Oilfield Services Appoints New Sales Director

Swire Oilfield Services, a provider of offshore cargo carrying units and associated services has appointed David Rae as sales director in line with its significant investment plans.
Rae brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company gained from holding a variety of senior commercial and finance roles in a career spent working in both the oil and gas and manufacturing industries. He was most recently business development director at helicopter operators CHC.
His role at Swire will see him plan and implement sales and marketing activities as well as contributing to the executive management of the company.

Rae’s appointment comes shortly after Swire’s announcement of its £50 million investment in services with £20 million being injected in to its North Sea operations including the construction of new global headquarters in Aberdeen.
