SOCP to Meet on November 1-3 2011

The Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP) will be hosting the SOCP Fall 2011 Meeting at the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) on November 1-3, 2011.  The focus for this meeting is Safety/Security Issues Impacting the Maritime Industry. This meeting will be attended by government and maritime industry representatives.  This will provide an opportunity to meet them and discuss your products and services.
 
 

SOCP is also planning a Counter Piracy demonstration in conjunction with this meeting on November 1st.  Security companies are invited to attend the meeting and setup a boot on November 2nd, 2011.  I am attaching the SOCP press release and Vendor Booth form.  Please fill out the Vendor Booth form and send it back to us to indicate your desire to participate and setting up a Vendor booth at the meeting.  The cost for the booth is only $500.  All the participating vendors will be introduced at the meeting by SOCP President on Nov 2, 2011 afternoon.
 
 

SOCP is an industry-government partnership that was formed in 1993 to share resources in the development and evaluation of technologies to advance shipboard safety, regulations, environment, training, reliability and productivity in an effort to improve the competitiveness of the U.S. maritime industry.
