Investors in People (IIP) has recognized Jee Ltd’s continued commitment to its staff by awarding the company with the Gold Standard award for the second time, the company announced.

Initially accredited as an IIP organization in 2006, the subsea engineering and training company went on to be awarded the Gold title in March 2011. By retaining this status in July 2015, Jee is now one of only seven percent of UK organizations to be recognized at this level by the national quality standard.

John Connor, Finance Director and Head of Central Services at Jee Ltd said, “The whole team is thrilled with the award. The report underlines the strong commitment and dedication we have to our people, and the well-embedded core values that are interwoven into all aspects of our business.”

IIP is the UK's leading people management standard, helping organizations to improve business performance through their people. For Jee, the award had further resonance as the report congratulated the company on retaining the accreditation, despite the challenges of the current industry downturn and falling oil prices.

The award involved assessment across all levels of the business, with the assessor interviewing multiple staff across the company’s Aberdeen, London and Tonbridge offices. Jee exhibited a commitment to the development of staff and in particular showed an impressive level of opportunity for engineers to progress through to chartership status.

“We strive to provide world-class engineers, who deliver quality services and exceptional results for our clients globally. Our staff are our biggest asset, and we have a passionate and positive culture within Jee which is truly reflected in the commitment of our people to go the extra mile.

“This award helps to reinforce our company wide ethos, and we aim to retain this status in the future,” Connor concluded.
