CMA CGM Reshuffles its CIMEX 2E Service Linking Asia to Chennai

 CMA CGM has announced the reshuffling of its CIMEX 2E service linking Asia to Chennai (India East Coast) as from January 2016.

New service features are the following: Rotation: Busan - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Yantian - Singapore - Port Kelang - Chennai - Port Kelang - Singapore - Manila - Busan
Frequency: weekly.  Fleet: 5 vessels of 5,000 TEU. Competitive transit times: Shanghai-Chennai in 13 days
By further strengthening its 4th service connecting Asia base ports to the Indian Subcontinent, CMA CGM is providing an enhanced coverage in the region on this growing market.
CMA CGM also announced it is upgrading its Swahili Express, or SWAX, service between India and East Africa by adding a fortnightly call at Nacala, Mozambique.
