UK yacht equipment specialist Lewmar to sponsor the 2012 Lewmar Hamble One Design Championships, the UK's premier winter sailing event.
This sponsorship represents a furthering of Lewmar's commitment to UK competitive sailing, having been a long term supporter of the Hamble Winter Series as a day sponsor.
Taking place over two packed weekends; the 13/14th and 27/28th October, the event is organised by Hamble River Sailing Club as a component championship of the incredibly popular Hamble Winter Series.
Firmly established as a leading One Design event on the Solent, the racing is expected to be furiously contested over a total of 12 races across the two weekends. The Championships are open to Impalas, Sigma 38s, J/109s, J/92s, SB20s, J/80s and Quarter Tonners, with a considerable number of entries already logged.
In addition to being title sponsor, Lewmar will also be providing equipment prizes to the top three entrants in each class.
