Bremner Joins Multi Service

Multi Service, the transaction management company responsible for online bunker procurement technology currently utilized by major government entities worldwide, announced today the addition of James Bremner to the maritime solutions team. Bremner will lead product and business development efforts for the company’s online bunker procurement systems. “Our government program has gained solid traction in the marketplace,” said Michele Urness, senior vice president of Multi Service,” and has illustrated the value of an online transaction network in the bunker industry.” In fact, more than 220,000 metric tonnes of fuel were run through the company’s bunker procurement solution in 2010, and the program continues to grow.Bremner offers more than a decade of experience in the maritime and bunker industries with particular focus on financial services through information technology solutions.  

“The Multi Service bunker procurement platform provides both bunker buyers and suppliers with a cost-efficient way of conducting business,” said Bremner. “In today’s economic environment, these hard and soft cost-savings become all the more important. It is an exciting time to be part of such an innovative and relevant endeavor.”

Prior to joining Multi Service, Bremner acted as business manager at Resurgence where he oversaw development of the Voyager Maritime Payment Solution.
