W&O, a global supplier to the marine and upstream oil and gas markets for pipe, valves and fittings, valve automation and engineered solutions, announced new leadership in its Northeast region with the promotion of longtime employee Bill Duffy to Northeast regional manager.

In this new role, Duffy will serve as W&O’s market leader in the Northeast, working closely with customers, pursuing new business opportunities and actively engaging with industry organizations. The W&O distribution locations in Philadelphia, Pa.; Linden, N.J.; and Halifax, Nova Scotia will report to Duffy, as will W&O-subsidiary Premier, a fabrication facility specializing in Copper-Nickel piping system components based in Portsmouth, Va.

Duffy has spent the past 18 years at W&O holding a number of leadership roles, including corporate distribution center manager, branch manager in both Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and most recently, general manager of Premier. This rich, varied experience will serve him well in his new role.

A United States military veteran, Duffy served in the U.S. Navy for 11 years as a Chief Petty Officer with active duty assignments on the USS Clark, USS Clifton Sprague and at Naval Station Mayport in Florida. He then went on to serve 15 years in the U.S. Navy Naval Reserve Force.
