AADE Lafayette Chapter Announced Board Members

The Lafayette Chapter of the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) has announced its 2014-2015 board members. Members from oil and gas companies volunteer to serve as officers and committee members in an effort to promote industry education and other community efforts.

The 2014-2015 officers for the AADE Lafayette Chapter are: Alden Sonnier, president (MI Swaco); David Gomez, first vice president and programs committee chairman (Chevron); Matt Hensgens, second vice president and membership committee chairman (Chevron); Jarrod Suire, secretary (Acadiana Inspection & Consulting); and Sharon Moore, treasurer, chapter representative and website committee (Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.).

Board members include: Al Wambsgans, steering committee chairman, national board at large and director emeritus (DC International); Jaime Crosby, steering committee and LSU liaison (Chevron); Derrick Daigle, steering committee member and finance committee (Phalanx Petroleum); Lindsay Longman, steering committee and joint industry committee (Phalanx Petroleum); Jeffrey Svendson, steering committee member, sporting clays chairman and Nicholls State scholarship liaison (Advanced Logistics, LLC); Rick Voth, steering committee member and scholarships committee chairman (Blueline Manufacturing, Inc.); Jay Gallet, steering committee member (Chevron); Kristy Bonner, arrangements committee chairman, publicity committee chairman and website committee (Foster Marketing); Joe Bernard, 5F committee chairman (Pro-T); Rick Farmer, golf committee co-chairman (Stone Energy); Tim Mannon, golf committee co-chairman (Stone Energy); Sid Breaux, knowledge box (Breaux Engineering); Bryce Percle, ULL student section liaison (Baker Hughes); Bruce Jordan, ULL fluid lab chairman (Stokes & Spiehler); Doug Keller, director emeritus (Knight Oil Tools); and Andre Arceneaux, director emeritus.

“The AADE Lafayette Chapter strives to further industry education through educational speakers, scholarship efforts and community outreach initiatives,” said Alden Sonnier, president of the AADE Lafayette Chapter. “We are pleased to recognize this year’s board as without their support none of these efforts would be possible.”
