Xodus Appoints New Operations Director For London

International energy consultancy Xodus Group has appointed Alistair Porter as Operations Director for London to drive forward business across the company’s technical and commercial activities.

 
Based in London, Mr Porter has been with Xodus since it was founded seven years ago and previously held the role of Global Process and Facilities Director where he managed a team of 130 engineers.  As Operations Director for London, he will be responsible for growing the financial and operational performance of the London Business Unit.

 
Alistair is an experienced process engineer and development engineering specialist with more than 23 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.  His main responsibilities have covered a range of engineering disciplines, including: study and department management; field development; feasibility and screening studies; bid preparation and conceptual studies; FEED and detail design; operational support and commissioning.

 
From Total Field Development (including exploration and new ventures) to integrated projects and asset support, the London Hub supports the group’s global capabilities and service lines to ultimately improve its client’s business through all phases of an energy asset’s life-cycle.
