This year's WISTA USA Annual General Meeting (AGM) brought together more than 120 maritime industry professionals from across the United States and around the world.

Declared a major success by WISTA USA president, Alexandra Anagnostis-Irons (president, Total Marine Solutions), the event was hosted by the New York/Jew Jersey chapter in Manhattan.
WISTA USA membership, as well as the WISTA International Executive Committee and several international WISTA members including Canada, Hellas, Nigeria, India, The Netherlands, UK, Cyprus, Cayman Islands and Switzerland gathered for the morning business sessions, which saw board members up for reelection (Jeanne Grasso, Kathy Haines, Frances Keeler and Terry Reilly) unanimously voted to extend their terms for another three years.
Next, WISTA USA's eight chapters (Connecticut, New York/New Jersey, Washington DC, Florida, New Orleans, Houston, West Coast and Pacific Northwest) presented updates and future plans to develop their memberships. The Marketing Committee reported on its activities and future plans, and the WISTA International Executive Committee presented an update on the international activities, including goals and objectives.
