Ward's Marine Electric Government Contract

Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Ward's Marine Electric was awarded a $2.5m dollar contract to replace automatic bus transfer switches for the United States Coast Guard. This award represents a significant achievement for the new government contracts division at Ward's Marine Electric. The contract involves upgrading 18 (440 VAC 100 to 300 Amp) switches on eight 378' Long-range Enforcement cutters in Honolulu (HI), Seattle (WA), Charleston (NC), San Francisco (CA), and Kodiak (AK). The unique ability to deploy fully qualified experienced marine electricians anywhere in the country simultaneously is what gives Ward's Marine Electric its competitive advantage.
