Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, LLC., was awarded on Sept. 28, 2009 a $8,126,971 firm-fixed-price contract for the maintenance dredging, Station 99+000 to Station 250+440, inland waterway, Delaware River to Chesapeake Bay, Delaware and Maryland. Work is to be performed in Chesapeake City, Md., with an estimated completion date of Feb. 20, 2010. Nine bids were solicited with three bids received.
