UniCarriers Americas Offers New Lift Truck Engine

 UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) said it now offers the ZD30 Tier 4 Advanced Turbo Diesel (ATD) engine series in its GO4 and FK Series lift truck models.

The EPA/CARB-certified, advanced ZD30 engine delivers high power and increased efficiency with emission levels that fall below Tier 4 requirements, the manufacturer said. The ATD engine includes common rail fuel injection, a variable-geometry turbo charger, cooled exhaust gas recirculation and a diesel oxidation catalyst. 
The engine provides low emissions without using a diesel particulate filter.
This results in enhanced productivity and lower fuel consumption. Other benefits of the ZD30 includes its ability to maintain low noise levels during idle and at maximum travel speeds, plus an electronic controlled Quick Glow system for dependable cold weather starting.
