Tura Turizm, the largest cruise line tour supplier in Turkey, received two out of five tour operator awards bestowed by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. at its Tour Operator & Shore Excursion Managers Conference that ended Feb. 7. The Istanbul-based company received the Shore Excursion Manager's Award and the Most Innovative Tour Idea Award.

The Shore Excursion Manager's Award was voted on by shipboard excursion managers, based on ease of working with tour suppliers and overall guest satisfaction with tour products. Tura received the most innovative award for its HD Tour product. HD Tours incorporate next-generation tourism technology that enables guides to share destination experiences not only verbally, but also visually with guests.

"It is gratifying to be selected by RCCL for this recognition from among all the tour operators its cruise brands work with around the world," said Erkunt Oner, president and owner of Tura Turizm. "These awards recognize the professionalism of our staff and the creativity we bring to designing our tour offerings."

Tura Turizm was a top-three finalist for Seatrade Insider's Innovative Shorex of the Year from 2008 through 2012, received the ISO 9001-2008 Certificate for Excellence in Quality Management in 2009, was selected for Green Globe membership in 2009 and was named Seatrade Insider Supplier of the Year in 2009.
