Three experts from global-leading energy services company, LR Senergy, have participated in the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ (SPE) Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition (ATCE) in Amsterdam this week (October 27-29) by presenting technical papers.
Reservoir engineer Stuart Law will address delegates (Wednesday, October 29) with a paper entitled: Secondary Application of Low Salinity Waterflooding to the Forties Sandstone Reservoirs.
Colin McPhee, who is global technical head of geomechanics & rock properties at LR Senergy, will present a paper focused on: Developing an Integrated Sand Management Strategy for Kinabalu Field, Offshore Malaysia today.
LR Senergy’s global technical head of reserves and asset evaluation Bob Harrison addressed delegates yesterday afternoon with his subject matter being: Should We Assign Different Well Performances for Low-Best Technical-High Cases in Prospect Evaluation?
The trio are three of around 30 LR Senergy employees expected to have presented at technical conferences by the end of this year.
Chief operating officer at LR Senergy, Alasdair Buchanan, said: “We have made a conscious effort to increase the number of technical papers applications made by our people this year and I am very pleased with the volume we have had accepted and subsequently presented at conferences and exhibitions around the world.”
Mr McPhee is to speak during a conference session which runs from 2pm to 5pm today and Mr Law will present at 4.10pm.
