Transas Names Ward APAC Sales VP

As a part of its global restructure, Tranas has announced that Andrew Ward has joined the team as the Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific. Ward  succeeds Johan Gustavsson, who moves into the newly created role of a Vice President Global Customer Support.
Andrew Ward brings nearly two decades of sales experience in the commercial and defence markets, and in the oil and gas sector.
Ward  has a BA (Hons) In Business Administration and Marketing and began his career with Litton Marine Systems (now Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine). During 2007 - 2009 Ward worked at the Imtech Marine UK supporting both their commercial business but also development of their naval business, most noticeably the CVF (Carrier Vessel Future) and the RFA (Royal Fleet Auxiliary) Landing Craft Ships.
 
In 2009 Andrew moved into the Offshore Oil & Gas Sector where he initially worked for L3 Communications developing the European and Middle East markets for Dynamic Position Systems and then, most recently heading up the Asia region for the C-MAR group, a provider of marine and offshore crewing, vessel management, training, consultancy and project manpower services.
