APM Terminals Pipavav Welcomes Longest Vessel

APM Terminals Pipavav achieved yet another milestone by hosting container vessel “Adrian Maersk” at the port. At 353 meters long it is the longest vessel to call at port Pipavav.
Adrian Maersk called Pipavav as part of FM3 service and links Pipavav to key markets in Far East through port calls to Singapore/ Dalian/ Xingang/Quingdao/Busan/ Kwangyang/ Ningbo/Tanjung Pelepas/ Colombo/Nhava Sheva. During the Pipavav port call, the vessel loaded commodities such as glassware, wastepaper, electronic items, auto parts, garments/apparel for imports – and inorganic chemicals, fabrics, stone articles, auto parts and polypropylene for exports.

The port is certified to handle ships up to 370 meters and 14.5 meter draft with its turning basin of 550 meters. The port also offers liner customers experienced pilots and a fleet of tugs to safely guide all vessels into and out of the port.
