The State of Emergency and curfew declared yesterday (August 14) is not affecting the Suez Canal transit convoy system.

Operations at all Egyptian ports and in the Canal are running smoothly as normal, without any extra requirements or delays.

14 of Egypt's 27 cities, including Cairo, Alexandria, Ismailia  and  Suez,  are covered by the State of Emergency and curfew, but Port Said is currently not among them.

Based on the current situation, GAC Egypt has resumed spares and crew change operations until further notice, subject to emerging developments.
