Staten Island Ferry Seeks Design Consultant

New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) need a consultant to support the construction of new & modified ferries

The New York City Department of Transportation (“DOT”) released an RFP (PIN – 84112SISI627)  on behalf of its Ferry Division for the total design and construction support services for the construction of new and modified Staten Island Ferries. 

DOT intends to construct new ferry vessels to replace the existing Barberi and Kennedy class ferries based on the design developed by the consultant selected through this RFP.

The selected consultant could also be tasked with designing enhancements to the existing Molinari class ferries.

Sealed proposal must be submitted by 2:00 PM on August 17, 2012 to the Contract Management Unit at 55 Water Street, Ground Floor, New York, NY 10041.

A Pre-Proposal Conference (Optional) will be held on July 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at 55 Water Street, Ground Floor Conference Room, New York, NY 10041.
