The Ship Production Symposium (SPS), hosted by the National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) and the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), and held in conjunction with the 2014 SNAME Maritime Convention (SMC), is an annual symposium that presents original and timely technical papers addressing problems of shipyard techniques and production of merchant and naval ships. It is a forum to discuss the worldwide development of ship production engineering, ship design (including design for production) and other marine technology topics, such as ship operations, shipping economics and safety.

To submit technical paper, go to SPS Technical Paper Submissions. The submission deadline is Tuesday, June 3. Authors will receive notification if their paper has been selected for inclusion in SPS by Tuesday, June 24.
