ZIM Shuffles Greece Turkey Service

 Container carrier ZIM has informed of an upgrade to its Greece Turkey Service (TGX) which will deploy three 1,700 TEU vessels starting May 2017 in the following rotation: Haifa – Ashdod – Antalya– Istanbul– Izmit– Gemlik– Istanbul– Piraeus – Thessaloniki – Izmir – Haifa.

According to ZIM, the shuffle will offer expanded port coverage, as well as secured windows in Haifa (Monday) & Ashdod (Wednesday) and fast transit time from Thessaloniki and Izmir to Israel, particularly suited for the refrigerated trade.
