Maritime e-procurement platform ShipServ has appointed Henrik Hyldahn to the position of senior vice president, business development. Based in ShipServ’s Copenhagen office, Hyldahn will focus on developing the business’ new ventures.
Hyldahn joins ShipServ with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the marine business, gleaned through previous roles from both the supplier and buyer sides. Before joining ShipServ, Hyldahn was chief information officer at global maritime services group Seven Seas, before which he held the role of managing director at technical and strategic consultancy CUBISOL. Prior to working at Seven Seas, Hyldahn also held senior roles at Coca-Cola, the Carlsberg Group, and the Eitzen Group.
According to ShipServ, this new appointment comes at an important time of growth for the company, as it looks to bring to market new products and solutions in line with the continuing digitalization of the shipping industry.
Kim Skaarup, CEO, ShipServ, said, “ShipServ’s objective in the next few years is to develop new solutions to address the key challenges our customers face. To succeed, we need to work even more closely with them. Henrik’s mix of marine and technology experience makes him well placed to drive us towards this objective more effectively.”
