Dutch shipmanager Q-Shipping to equip its whole fleet with Germanischer Lloyd's ship management solution.

Q-Shipping provides ship management services for vessel type such as bulk carriers, general cargo vessels, MPP vessels, ro-ro vessels, container vessels, offshore vessels, seagoing contractor material, tankers and commercial yachts from its offices in the Netherlands, Turkey and the Ukraine.

GL ShipManager is an integrated ship management software solution supporting Technical Management, Procurement, Quality & Safety Management and Crewing. GL say that it is recognized for its high user friendliness and the investment security if offers its customers. It is the only solution that come with integrated business intelligence application for management reporting, KPIs and analysis.

“Having a solution in use already, we made a detailed comparison of ship management software in the market,” comments Diederic van Keulen, MD, “and GL ShipManager best suited our demands.”

“We are very happy about Q-Shippings decision for us and look forward to a successful implementation project and cooperation” confirms Dr. Torsten Büssow, Head of Maritime Software of GL. The implementation project started on 1st of May and the project teams of both companies have commenced implementation work.
