Global  equipment specialist ATR Group has appointed a new operations director to lead its Lifting Solutions division as it continues to build for sustained growth in the international oil and gas marketplace.

Pam Thom brings more than 18 years industry experience to the newly-created role which will see her focus on supporting onshore operations across ATR’s UK network.

Formerly operations director at Conserve Oilfield Services, she brings a wealth of knowledge in supply chain management, procurement, logistic and operational excellence to ATR. Her remit will include reviewing processes and procedures with the Lifting Solutions business to maximise efficiencies and deliver cost benefits to ATR’s customers.

She is joined by newly appointed supply chain manager Kevin Morrison. Formerly with Archer (UK) and Sodexo, he has over 13 years supply chain experience of working across the UK and Europe.

Mr Morrison will be responsible for leading, developing and maintaining all supply chain operations across the Group to deliver competitive advantage in the marketplace.

ATR Group chief executive Keith Moorhouse said the appointments further strengthen ATR’s management team in Aberdeen.

“Attracting people of Pam and Kevin’s calibre to our organisation sends a very strong message about what we are doing in the marketplace, the interesting and dynamic projects we support and the opportunity to work with some of the biggest companies operating in the industry today.

“Their skills and expertise will not only strengthen the Group as we continually strive to deliver the highest levels of service and standards, locally and internationally but will also play a key role in the planned growth and development of the business.”
