Search for Missing Kayaker in Bahamas Suspended

The search for a missing 64-year-old kayaker in the vicinity of Eleuthera, Bahamas, was suspended Wednesday.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard 7th District command center received a report from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force of a male kayaker who was reported missing by his son-in-law after not returning from a kayaking trip Tuesday evening.

During the search, the kayak and personal flotation device belonging to the kayaker were located with no sign of the missing male.
