Investor Rotterdam Port Fund has taken an interest in Tagpoint Training bv, a Rotterdam technology company that has developed a unique digital platform for offering online modules for safety training. Tagpoint Training is the first to offer training that focuses on behavioral change. This makes Tagpoint innovative in the area of safety awareness training.

Tagpoint Training provides high quality attractive and insightful online modules for safety training. The modules contain game elements, questions, photos, drawings, videos and exercises. These training modules were developed in collaboration with behavioral psychologists and teach employees to adopt safe work routines. Using psychological impulses to achieve safe behavioral change is the most effective solution for reducing incidents at work.

The Tagpoint Training company fits the investment profile for the Rotterdam Port Fund. "Safety is a licence to operate for companies active in the port sector," says Frans van der Harst of the Rotterdam Port Fund. "We are pleased to support the company in its ambition to put the proven technology on the national and international market and thus contribute to the next step in safety awareness training."

"The support and participation of the Rotterdam Port Fund lays a solid foundation under Tagpoint Training, both financially and in terms of networking," says Tagpoint Training director and co‐shareholder Egbert Vennik. "The appointment of Professor Jop Groeneweg,an internationally recognized authority in the field of risk management, to our Consultative Council, is a good example thereof."
